The road is only straight in dreams,

life draws lines full of twists and turns.

One makes plans,

and time interrupts them suddenly.

Desires soar high,

but reality treads differently.

We don't choose the moment,

we don't choose the path.

Everyday life rolls in circles,

sometimes down, sometimes up.

Everything flows,

even when we'd like to stop.

Silence falls in difficult moments,

thoughts crowd endlessly.

Can we change anything,

or do we just watch it pass?

We are here,

but nothing lasts as we would like.
