Silence fills the evening
Silence fills the evening
Title: Hands Clasped in a Prayer of Renewal
Silence fills the evening reflections,
the moon withholds its light from the light.
Time waits, stretched between "now" and "later,"
unraveling the days like a rosary of hope.
The star has not yet risen,
but its promise trembles in hearts,
a candle flame in the wind,
fragile but unquenchable faith.
Advent is a journey through reflection,
with questions heavier than penance.
On this journey, the sky bows low,
darkness ceases to be an enemy—
it becomes a place for grace
that will come,
inevitable as dawn.
