Title: The Most Precious Blooms in the Soul
I carry sparks in my heart
that cannot be forged in gold.
Delicate as the morning breath,
they grow with the silence of the days.
The first is a hand. It rises towards others.
It is gentle, though the world can be harsh.
It does not ask for payment, it does not seek recognition.
The second is water, which knows when to flow
and when to stay in its trough.
It does not chase away storms,
but neither does it start storms.
The third is the shade under a tree,
where the gaze rests.
It does not climb other people's branches,
it does not measure the height of the sun.
These gifts do not sparkle in the light of marketplaces,
do not gleam in window displays.
They are treasures that life polishes in secret.
Sometimes silently, sometimes painfully,
until they become a light
that blossoms within.
