Memories are sweet and life's treasures,

But I want to erase all those. 

When I ruminate the memories, it perturbs,

My limbs quake and my eyes go close.

I got back to a different world,

And I float within the mists and flakes.

I initially experienced the joy of being pearled,

But in the next, I fell into sorrowful lakes.

All the portraits of the past surround me,

And the amazing reels they began to play;

Hypnotise me and nothing new I can see!

I just wait until I come under its slay.

The memories push me to delve into deep,

My breath struck off within its bosom.

And my mind becomes restless with a beep,

So, I can't praise my memories as awesome!

They have odour but they are intoxicating,

One can write an unending poem on them.

In the words of poetry, they are fascinating!

Their hypocrisy, here I solemnly condemn!

In this context, I am affirmed to divulge,

They blackmail me with their sweetness.

I want to get rid of my memories to indulge!

No way! I can't bear their extreme rudeness!
