Title: Bloody Morning Awakening
September brought smoke and fire,
planes ripped through the sky,
and the earth trembled under the tracks.
Poland, awakened amid alarms,
stood alone,
with a sword too short,
with a heart that could not be broken.
Borders burned,
cities fell silent in ruins,
forests welcomed those
who refused to surrender.
On that day, the childhood of an era died.
The nation learned to exist
through pain
and to speak with a voice
that bombs could not drown out.
