Title: Time of Reflection

A time of reflection, memories, visits,

when candles flicker in the twilight

and the silence around grows thicker..

On the other side, faded faces,

voices returning in dreams,

living only in memory.

Forefathers' Eve – a night of conversations with the past,

meetings on the border of worlds.

It's a bridge over dark water,

where you can feel a presence.

If they came here now, I would ask:

do they feel the peace they so sought,

do they regret what was left unfinished,

do they yearn as I do?.

Or perhaps it's better to leave everything a secret,

in the realm of faith and speculation,

where silence has more power than words,

where answers don't spoil the sanctity of questions?!.
