Let us hurry to love people.

Like autumn leaves, they rise and disappear.

Too prematurely

their breathing and laughter fade.

Only memories remain

and the hollow sound of words

reverberating in the empty room..

There is no time for waiting,

for postponing,

for unspoken "I love you,"

for gestures buried deep

that were supposed to come tomorrow.

They are in this moment that will pass,

in glances, in hugs,

in hands warm from touch..

So don't ask how much time is left,

just hurry to love..

Leave a trace that will remain

when you're gone.
