Title: I (Over)use Dreams

The silence outside the window spreads dreams,

of a new life with a smile in my eyes,

transforming gloom into blue,

bringing comfort to the suffering of the night..

I used to be afraid to ask for anything,

to make plans for tomorrow, to wait for their fulfillment.

But when I feel the warm breath of the wind,

I joyfully appreciate even a short time.

I am no longer afraid; I have trusted God,

with whom I journey towards the unknown.

I know that around the corner there is light after dark,

and that I will return, even if only in the trembling of a leaf..
