Let’s Return Back
Let’s return back now,
For the path we tread leads to nowhere.
Each turn echoes silence,
And the light grows faint in despair.
All the faces around are smiling masks,
Painted bright with shades of delight,
Yet beneath the colours, silent tears
Glisten in the shadows of night.
Let’s return back to a world black and white,
Where hues are drawn from the heart,
And the colours we hold in our eyes
Are enough to paint a new start.
Let’s return to the days of innocence,
When laughter rang pure in the air,
When trust was a given, not a gamble,
And love was free from fear.
Let’s walk backward to move ahead—
To moments we knew were true,
Where simplicity danced in the sunshine,
And dreams were born anew.
