Melting is the nature of the ice

It can't remain as solid forever 

A spark of heat turns it into liquids 

Its heart is so soft and clear.

It doesn't hold so firm

To satisfy its ego for graces 

So, nobody needs to use a hammer 

For breaking it into pieces.

So, it enhances nature's beauty 

When it is seen on a mountain 

It also looks extremely pretty 

When it floats on the water again.

But the stone never melts

And its roughness always remains 

You may try to make it soft

But all your efforts will go in vain. 

Stone is so hard to break 

For the cause a hammer is needed 

Its hit hurts enormously

That isn't a matter to be applauded.

The heart should be like an ice

Not like that of the stone

It's precious and priceless 

Remember that it's only your own!
