The Rose of Fortune and Its Thorns

Saffron dust upon rose petals,
the fragrance of fortune in jasmine garlands,
yet behind the beauty of every flower
lie the long sighs of thorns.
Fortune never comes in a single day;
I have walked through fire to find the light.
Yet the wounds deep within my heart
still whisper, “Not everything is all right.”
If you wish to journey alongside my fortune,
share my tears as well as my smiles.
Do not sit in the shade of another’s achievements
and place your burdens upon their shoulders.
If you truly wish to walk beside someone,
do not let go of their hand in difficult times.
Fortune is not merely a rose;
the wounds of its thorns are part of its story.
Its triumph is not found in sweet words alone,
but in the beauty of deeds and actions.
A flower outside, poison within—
what is the worth of such a double disguise?
If truth does not awaken in the heart,
even beauty loses its nature and light.
Purify yourself;
keep your heart clear and your mind serene.
Reach out to those who suffer,
and let your heart grow gentle.
Fortune cannot truly flourish
when you conceal the truth within;
the heart becomes generous
when it helps heal another’s wounds.
If you wish to share in fortune,
walk courageously along the thorny path.
Not merely for your own happiness,
but for the good of all,
sow the seeds of love,
honesty, and sincere effort.
For true fortune is not a crown
meant for one head alone;
it is a light that grows brighter
the more generously it is shared.
Come, let us plant flowers instead of thorns,
and love instead of hatred.
From one peaceful heart,
let us bring to the whole world
the blossoming fortune of humanity
and the eternal spring of world peace.
