A dance of shadows' creed

A dance of shadows' creed
In realms where light races, darkness takes the lead,
A constant chase, a dance of shadows' creed.
Before light arrives, darkness claims its stead,
A patient sentinel, in stillness it's decreed.
A forest deep, where night's black trees reside,
Yet those unafraid find roses on its tide.
For in the heart of night, secrets do confide,
A canvas for dreams, where stars in silence bide.
Lovers shrouded in dark's tender embrace,
Assassins lurking, darkness their secret base.
Dreams find their solace in this hidden space,
Where hopes take root, and fears they interlace.
Nurtured in the womb of velvety night,
Dreams emerge, taking flight in the moon's soft light.
Endure the darkness, seek stars shining bright,
Within its ebony depths, futures take their height.
Stuck within darkness, a reflection of time,
It gazes back at you, a mirror most sublime.
In everyone's essence, a blend so prime,
A touch of woman, man, and beasts' primal chime.
Duality resides, a dance of dark and light,
In every soul's tapestry, a symphony in flight.
Darkness and light, woven with pure insight,
A cosmic balance, in the day and in the night.
