A crime written in blood on the ground.

On the dark side of the day

lost soul

I whimper in fear.

Tormented by life.

terrified of death,

cold touch 

scratches infected wounds.

Frightened of monsters

a nest of vipers

in the recesses of the mind,

stops the words stuck in the larynx.

Collects the despair nestled in the oohs

and turns laughter into lament.

Drawn into a vortex of dark thoughts,

there is no escape route

there is no shelter. 

He goes to the slaughter to receive Cain's mark..

The sacrifice has been completed..
