*** Life and Death ***

Life’s a comet, swift and bright,

A wondrous streak, a fleeting light.

Leaving marvels in its trail,

Life’s beauty in a silver veil.

Death’s no foe in this grand theme;

It’s just the door to another dream.

In every breath, we find life’s rhyme,

A flowing dance through space and time.

Like rivers that to oceans flow,

We meet our start where endings go.

In life’s embrace, we drift, unseen,

Death whispers soft in the in-between.

Life’s trials are fierce, they sting and burn,

They teach us love at every turn.

They bid us cherish, hold life tight,

And gaze at death in gentle light.

Death, an adventure vast and deep,

A boundless plunge where mysteries sleep.

Life and death, a cosmic pair,

We drift through both, a dance in air.

So seize each moment, cherish strife,

With one eye on the edge of life.

For death, that unknown gate awaits,

To lead us on through cosmic gates.
