**The Inhuman Generation**
You have insulted the one who fought,
Who wrote his blood the song of freedom he sought.
His sweat soaked the earth beneath,
To breathe a tale of a flag in the sky.
You have forgotten the sacrifice made,
By the one who cleared your sky of shadow.
Today, his hands reach out for grace,
I only meet your indifferent gaze.
The weapon that was placed in your father's hand,
A mother's tears on her dear earth,
We were all for the life you now embrace,
Yet cruelty flourishes in your cold embrace.
When I grow old, ignore me too,
Throw me into a hole, Let life retreat.
But remember this truth, buried deep,
Your name too, the earth will not keep.
I still dream of a brighter day,
When this cruel generation finds its way.
When the voices of conscience pierce pride,
And honor blooms, no longer denied.
Let the light burn in the hearts again,
A drop of respect for the brave is worthy.
For in their sacrifices your land is established,
Your freedom, your pride - deep and loud..
