Title: Not So Easy to Die
On a chilly evening, as the wind tugged at the tree branches, she sat on a hill, gazing at the setting sun. All her life, she had felt that something was slipping past her, as if her days were merely shadows of real moments. She wondered why it was so hard to find meaning in the everyday, why sadness so often arrived uninvited. But today was different.
Today, she felt something more—a delicate spark of hope. Somewhere deep in her heart, she knew that every moment was fleeting, like a drop of rain on a leaf. It glistens for a second, then disappears. Yet even what lasts only a moment can be the best thing she ever had. She began to understand that life wasn't about great achievements or loud victories. It was about those silent moments, when a stranger’s smile could chase away sorrow, and silence could offer the answers she had been searching for.
She closed her eyes and let the calm of the night wrap around her. Even though the darkness seemed to be drawing near, she no longer feared it. Deep down, she felt that even in the worst of times, she had never truly been alone. She might not always see the path ahead, but she knew that sometimes it was enough to trust that something—or someone—was holding her hand. That brought peace.
Before falling asleep, she looked once more at the star-filled sky.
"Maybe this moment is the best one I've ever had," she thought…
