Where Roses Bloom
For long I've walked this tunnel deep,
In shadows where lost wishes sleep.
Aimless steps, my weary sighs,
Searching for you with longing eyes.
Yet darkness lingers in between,
A wall of doubt, cold and unseen.
I've lost my way, I'm torn apart,
Unsure which path will reach your heart.
But you—oh, love, you shine so bright,
A beam of hope, a guiding light.
One smile from you, so warm, so true,
Could chase the dark and paint it blue.
Bring me back where roses bloom,
Where air is laced with love’s perfume.
Fill me with scents so sweet, so new,
That every breath reminds of you.
