Where Love Still Gleams

Where Love Still Gleams

You are the river, a graceful flow,

I am the shore where soft winds blow.

I see the ocean in your eyes,

A tide of hopes, where dreams arise.

The storm may come with raging might,

Yet fades away into the night.

The clouds may drift, be swept afar,

Yet hearts still hold each falling star.

What’s lost within this heart so deep,

Shall never wake from where it sleeps.

We burned our home in passion’s fire,

Yet sift through ashes of desire.

Now moments whisper, faint and few,

Yet life must bloom in drops of dew.

So steal from time what love still gleams,

And weave the past into our dreams.
