Poem Gaza Infant -

Md Ejaj Ahamed

urshidabad, West Bengal, India

I am the baby of Gaza,

I am an orphan,

War has taken and killed my parents,

It is not war, it is injustice,

All of Palestine is suffering from unjust wrath

For a long time.

I am the baby of Gaza,

I am an orphan.

How my parents used to caress me!

They had dreams about me,

They wanted to make me a perfect human being.

How happy were the golden days

Spent with my parents!

We had a beautiful house, beautiful trees in the yard.

I am the baby of Gaza,

I am an orphan,

I had the roof of my parents' shelter over my head like the ozone layer,

Dreamy days peeking into the paradise of my head,

Now everything is destroyed,

The city is also destroyed,

Now I look

At the blue sky with tears in my eyes.
