***  Disposition. ***

She will walk from hell to paradise,

On gentle slopes where dreams arise.

With soft steps underfoot, she'll flee,

From cold and harsh adversity.

The wounds she bears, deep and raw,

More hurtful than what sight can draw.

Through unkindness, through bitter strife,

She seeks the warmth of a kinder life.

She’ll talk to someone she can trust,

To make the pain fade into dust.

Less overwhelming, less filled with fright,

So her mind won’t drift into the night.

Someone had to feel the pain,

To hear her scream, to break the chain.

To heal the wounds that haunt her soul,

And make her broken heart feel whole.

It’s time to choose, no more delay,

The will to proclaim, not shy away.

Gnawing discomfort must be shed,

To feel safe within herself instead.
